Hi Erika,
That's a pity, but misses my point.
From your terminology, perhaps you are more interested in Heidegger's
concept of being ?
I was interested in your comments on what 'situated being' & 'situated
seeing' might be.
How do you understand the way in which our use of an 'apparatus'
allows us to be cognitively situated ?
Is it a matter of the information gathered from the device being
layered over our 'baseline' or un-augmented
perception & if this is so, how does it necessarily develop any
possibility for the transcendental...
i.e. "giving meaning to the thing seen (landmark) that goes beyond
the features of the thing itself."
The relevant point about Deleuze is about trying to understand how
your notion of 'situation'
might be developed - what are the situating conditions that might
effect the way cognition / being in the world
etc inter-relate ? His approach develops a rich understanding about
the nature of the reality that we are situated in,
but clearly substitutes any Heideggerian notion of being with the
concept of becoming.
